Oceanic Biotechnology introduces full-spectrum chaga-mushroom extract powder

Oceanix Biotechnology Corp. (Vancouver, BC, Canada), a supplier of biotechnology and biopharmaceutical ingredients, has launched a new branded full-spectrum chaga mushroom extract powder called ChagaPure for the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical markets. ChagaPure is a highly bioactive, concentrated 20:1 extract.

According to the company, 20 kg of raw chaga produces 1 kg of the super-concentrated ChagaPure extract. The extract is also full-spectrum, containing both water-soluble and ethanol-soluble compounds. It is extracted from 100%-wild Canadian chaga mushrooms/fungus.

The firm says the extract is standardized to contain a minimum of 56% total polysaccharides. “ChagaPure also contains a very high chromogenic complex of over 51%, thereby making ChagaPure the most pure and active chaga mushroom/fungus extract in the world,” it claims.

It adds: “ChagaPure is produced from the highest-quality, 100%-wild Canadian chaga mushrooms from the pristine, non-polluted forests of Northern British Columbia. It therefore contains the highest content of potent anti-cancer, antioxidant, antiviral, and immuno-stimulatory compounds. The main biologically active substances in ChagaPure are the intensely colored water-soluble polyphenol pigments (chromogens) and the complex phenolic aldehydes, phenols, oxiphenolic acids, quinines, endo-polysaccharides, hetero-polysaccharides, polysaccharides, beta-glucans, homoglycans, steroids, polyphenols, triterpenoids, antioxidants, etc.” Plus, it contains minerals like potassium, iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, and mandate, the company adds.

The company says that all of its ingredients are manufactured to U.S. FDA and Healthy Canada’s GMP standards. According to the company, “ChagaPure, in clinical trials in Canadian and international laboratories and universities, clearly demonstrates ChagaPure’s strong antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal activity.”
