Seven probiotic strains from Ildong Biosciences, based in the Republic of Korea, received independent conclusion of GRAS: Bacillus subtilis IDCC 1101, Bifidobacterium bifidum IDCC 4201, Bifidobacterium longum IDCC 4101, Lactobacillus gasseriI DCC 3101, Lactobacillus helveticus IDCC 3801, Lactobacillus salivarius IDCC 3551, and Lactobacillus fermentum IDCC 3901.
“Achieving our GRAS status with the help of the AIBMR team was an imperative step to certify that our ingredients are safe,” AnaMariaCuentas, director of probiotics for Nutralliance Inc.
