Nutraceuticals Group (Bloomingdale, NJ) has acquired the exclusive rights to offer the patent-pending Spanish ingredient H2OSlim to the U.S., Canadian, and Korean supplement manufacturing markets.
"We are excited at the potential in this ingredient, and are well positioned to introduce H2OSlim to the top manufacturers of the supplement industry, and they are going to be excited about it too because the studies we've seen on H20Slim show some really impressive results," said David Romeo, international business consultant for Nutraceuticals Group, in a press release. The ingredient is positioned to compete with chitosan, because it is sourced from common mushrooms rather than the shells of crustaceans, which has an allergen warning and marine heavy metal concerns.
H2OSlim is expected to hit the U.S. market this spring, giving priority to existing clients for potential exclusives, then open for general sales in September.
