NuLiv Science (Brea, CA) has launched a newly rebranded sports nutraceutical compound — formerly known as ActiGin — called Senactiv. In addition, NuLiv announced that a new study is pending publication in the journal Aging, adding to the existing body of six human clinical studies that support its ability to enhance physical performance through energy nourishment and optimized cell turnover specifically in exercised muscle tissue.
“With our newest research on senescent cell clearance in exercised muscle tissue and our research plan for the future, we felt it was a great time to reposition and refresh the brand of this incredible ingredient,” said Josh Beaty, marketing director, in a press release. “Muscle energy and muscle regeneration are the key value propositions, and we know consumers are actively seeking these outcomes.”
NuLiv Science president, Richard Wang, added, “We have now found a way to slow down muscle aging, and we know muscle strength and muscle mass is an important indicator of healthy aging for consumers.”
