NSF International’s NSF Certified for Sport program has certified two joint-health supplements featuring ESM Technologies’ (Carthage, MO) eggshell-derived ingredients.
NSF International’s NSF Certified for Sport program, indicating that a product is free of banned substances, has certified two joint-health supplements featuring ESM Technologies’ (Carthage, MO) eggshell-derived ingredients.
The products are marketed by Core Health Products in the sports and fitness supplements market. One product, Joint Health +, features the ESM’s NEM (Natural Eggshell Membrane) ingredient, as well as proteolytic enzymes and antioxidants, to support muscle and joint health. The other product, Core Health Pack +, contains ESM’s ESC (EggShell Calcium), as well as essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes, and probiotics.
“Core Health’s Joint Health + with NEM and their Core Health Pack + with ESC, both tested and certified by NSF International, is a true step in the right direction, especially for those Olympians, professional sports athletes, and any athlete concerned about testing rules and unknown substances,” said Chris Haynes, director of sales for ESM Technologies.
Joint Health + is manufactured by National Enzyme Co. (NEC; Forsyth, MO), which is an NSF for Sport certified facility. Demetrius Bledsoe, director of sales and marketing for NEC, said, “National Enzyme Company is very excited to be involved with an ingredient like NEM that is a ‘game changer’ for this industry. Our facilities are NSF Sports certified, and Core Health’s Joint Health+ with NEM being certified in the same manner, we see a perfect match.”
