“More and more, consumers are using the Natural Seal to find natural products at their favorite stores," says NPA president Jeff Wright.
The Natural Products Association (NPA; Washington, DC) has reached a milestone 800th certification granted under its Natural Seal program, which recognizes natural products and ingredients.
“In almost four years, NPA has certified more than 800 products and ingredients under the Natural Seal,” says NPA president Jeff Wright. “More and more, consumers are using the Natural Seal to find natural products at their favorite stores.”
Under the certification program, products and ingredients are vetted by an independent third-party auditor to ensure that certified products are at least 95% natural, excluding water. Products with the Natural Seal must list all ingredients on the package label, and NPA also requires 100% natural fragrances and colorants.
