Strawberries are a low-glycemic fruit option high in fiber, vitamin C, and manganese. Other nutrients provided from strawberries include omega-3 fatty acids, folate, potassium, vitamin K, vitamin B6, magnesium, and anthocyanins.
NP Nutra has added the ingredient to its Nutra Pura range of freeze-dried ingredients and its BettaBerries Antioxidant Blend. Possible applications include juices, smoothie mixes, yogurts, ice creams, jellies, baked goods, and confectionery.
