NOW has acquired SuperNutrition, expanding its supplement product lines to include high potency vitamins.

NOW has acquired SuperNutrition, a supplement company that offers high-potency SKUs of multi-vitamins. SuperNutrition was a family business started by Patrick Mooney and his son Michael Mooney, and remained in the family, led by Patrick’s daughter Kathy Mooney. NOW will expand the SuperNutrition line in keeping with the founders’ principles, as well as expand distribution worldwide through a wide and growing network of international distributors.
“The SuperNutrition brand and products are a welcome addition to the family-focused range of high-quality, nutritionally valuable dietary supplements offered by NOW,” said Jim Emme, NOW CEO. “We are thankful to Kathy and her family for having confidence that NOW will take care of their father’s legacy brand of healthy vitamins.”

The acquisition was facilitated by Karl Riedel of Riedel Enterprises. No details of the acquisition were disclosed.
