First introduced last year at SupplySide West, the superfood line is designed to be a “one-stop shop” for companies looking for superfood ingredient solutions for products like nutrition bars, smoothie bowls, yogurts, granolas, juices, smoothies, frozen desserts, and other functional beverages.
Nexira (Rouen, France) will highlight its POW(D)ER line of superfood ingredients at March’s Natural Products Expo West trade show in Anaheim, CA, at Booth #4531. First introduced last year at SupplySide West, the superfood line is designed to be a “one-stop shop” for companies looking for superfood ingredient solutions for products like nutrition bars, smoothie bowls, yogurts, granolas, juices, smoothies, frozen desserts, and other functional beverages.
At Nexira’s POW(D)ER online shop, companies can quickly request ingredient samples. The powders span vibrant colors, textures, and flavors, in notes ranging from sweet and tart to spicy, earthy, and nutty. “Each reference is characterized with its technical properties: solubility, taste, and color in solution,” the company’s press release states.
The company also highlights each ingredient’s unique origin story, nutrient content, and traditional use. “As an example, the latest addition to the range is Dewy Alfalfa juice powder,” said Franck Gillet, sales director, Nexira, in the press release. “Why Dewy? Because Alfalfa is cleansing, like grass wet with dew.” The release adds: “The design also tells the same story through dedicated patterns, such as drops, waves, volcano, or flowers and bright colors referring to superfoods.”
At Expo West, the company will showcase different recipes featuring the ingredients, including a green detox smoothie and a green hummus.
