Following the merger of ESHA Research and FoodLogiQ in October 2022, the combined organization has rebranded under the name Trustwell. FoodLogiQ was a leading software as a service (SaaS) provider of traceability, food safety and supply chain transparency solutions, while ESHA was a leader in nutrition analysis and regulatory compliant labeling software and services. The strategic merger, according to a press release, “will offer the food industry an unmatched ability to extend product development and nutritional analysis into supplier compliance, enhanced traceability and automated recall management.”
Stephen Bruce will serve as CEO of Trustwell, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of building and scaling effective SaaS companies. More recently, Bruce served as managing director of the software group at LTG, and previous to that, held executive roles for PeopleFluent, Aptean, Infor, and Geac.
“Our new name embodies the most critical element within the food industry, trust; the trust our customers establish with their consumers and the trust our customers have in our software to increase transparency and mitigate brand risk in their supply chains,” said Bruce, in a press release.
As part of the rebrand, FoodLogiQ’s CEO Katy Jones will continue at Trustwell as chief strategy and marketing officer. FoodLogiQ’s product suite, which enables supplier management, food safety compliance, quality incident management and whole chain traceability, combined with the Genesis product suite from ESHA, which offers nutritional analysis and label development solutions to ensure regulatory compliance, will drive the new Trustwell Connect platform.
