Supplement firm VitaThinQ (Davie, FL) has launched two new dietary supplement mint products for the energy and weight-management markets.

Rather than pills, which many consumers find unpleasant to swallow, the new Essential Mints are meant to be a more enjoyable delivery system for supplement ingredients. They may also allow for a expedited intake of active ingredients, VitaThinQ claims.

“The beauty of Essential Mints lies in their simplicity: a delicious mint that provides a vital boost to consumers,” VitaThinQ explains in the launch announcement. “Unlike pills, which deliver delayed benefits upon digestion and are often filled with hard-to-digest binders, Essential Mints offer a more immediate and complete supplement delivery.’

Unlike with pills, ingredients in the mints begin to enter the blood stream during the chewing process through highly vascularized tissues in the mouth. Whatever supplement ingredients are not absorbed in the mouth are then taken into the blood stream through the stomach and intestines, according to VitaThinQ.

The first two Essential Mints, which are now available on Amazon.com, are Energizing Peppermint and Fat Burner Peppermint. Each Energizing mint contains 20 mg of caffeine, while the Fat Burner mints combine Garcinia cambogia, green coffee, and saffron extract. Both mint products come in 80-mint tins and retail from $7.95 to $9.95 per tin.
