Nutritional Outlook is a founding media partner of Women In Nutraceuticals and will host a roundtable discussion with leading female nutraceutical executives in December 2022.
Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN), a new nonprofit group spearheaded by global nutraceutical leaders, announced its formal launch this month. WIN’s goal is to build support for women in the nutraceuticals industry, to help increase the percentage of women holding leadership roles in the C-suite and across the dietary supplement supply chain, to increase funding for female-led businesses, and to increase women’s participation in nutraceuticals research.
Nutritional Outlook is one of the founding media partners of the nonprofit organization and will help to drive discussions around these topics.
“The 2021 Women in the Workplace report showed that only 86 women to every 100 men are promoted to first-level manager, and women are underrepresented in leadership roles across the nutraceutical industry,” says WIN President Heather Granato. “The lack of female leadership representation is a disservice to the industry as women represent the majority of consumers and consistently add significant value when they hold influential positions. WIN was formed to amplify women’s industry standing and provide them support, resources, and tools to achieve professional and personal success.”
WIN’s founding members represent organizations from around the globe, including from the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australasia. The executive board comprises:
WIN’s founding sponsors include Alkemist Labs, Amin Talati Wasserman, Arizona Nutritional Supplements, Artemis International Inc., Avant Nutrition LLC, Cepham Inc., the Council for Responsible Nutrition, Cypress Systems, DCC Health & Beauty Solutions USA, Industry Transparency Center, Informa, Kemin, Know Agency, Kyowa Hakko, MAYPRO Group, Nutrify Today, Nutrition Capital Network, Organic & Natural Health Association, and The 6AM Agency.
Founding media partners include Nutraceuticals World, NutraIngredients-USA, Nutritional Outlook, SupplySide/New Hope/Vitafoods, and WholeFoods Magazine.
