The new ingredient, Cubo, features Indena’s Curcumin Phytosome and Boswellia Phytosome ingredients.
Indena (Milan) is introducing a brand new ingredient for gut health called Cubo at this week’s Vitafoods Europe trade show in Geneva, Switzerland. The ingredient combines Indena’s curcumin and boswellia Phytosome ingredients.
As the company states, in Cubo, “curcumin and boswellia join forces to control oxidation, bacterial balance, and muscle cramps for optimal gut health and a better quality of life.” Both the curcumin and boswellia are formulated with Phytosome, Indena’s proprietary delivery system technology that optimizes the bioabsorption and pharmacokinetic properties of natural active ingredients.
According to Indena’s press release, “Recently, clinical evidence has demonstrated the efficacious support given to gut health by the two-Phytosome coalition, which has been proven to provide multiple health benefits for easy gut transit, controlling bloating, abdominal discomfort, and balancing intestinal microbiota.”
The company shared this new research at Vitafoods Europe, as well as new clinical research on its Relissa Melissa Officinalis ingredient, from the mint family, which supports sleep health by modulating GABA-transaminase enzyme and thereby boosting levels of GABA.
