Biostime, a brand of children’s probiotic and prebiotic supplements, has selected trademarked probiotic strains Bifidobacterium longum CECT 7894 and Pediococcus pentosaceus CECT 8330 for its latest children’s probiotic supplement. The strains are supplied by Kaneka Probiotics (Pasadena, TX) and AB-Biotics (Barcelona). Kaneka Probiotics is a shareholder in AB-Biotics and licenses, produces, and distributes AB-Biotics ingredients in certain countries.
