MegaFood has unveiled its brand refresh that includes an updated packaging design as well as an updated website, social media, and marketing campaigns that match the new look. According to the brand, the new design gives MegaFood a more modern look that allows it to stand out better and be easier to shop for on stores shelves and ecommerce. As part of the refresh, MegaFoods has also launched an omega-3-6-9 plant-based supplement made with algae and Ahiflower. MegaFoods has also announced that it will be strengthening its already robust standards. For example, the Certified B Corporation and 1% for the Planet member has increased the number of pesticides its tests for to more than 150, from 125.
"Building on our rich history of creating efficacious, plant-powered vitamins and supplements for more than 50 years, this next chapter for MegaFood brings to life our new brand identity and purpose: to harness the power of plants to nurture the health of people and planet," said Andy Dahlen, CEO of MegaFood, in a press release. "We have an unwavering commitment to quality using science-backed ingredients and rigorous internal testing, such as testing for 150+ pesticides, to meet the purity and potency standards we demand, and our consumers deserve, and as our brand continues to innovate and evolve, so must our visual identity. This transformation honors our deep heritage while preparing for the next 50 years with a distinctive look focused on our mission and purpose."
The new look was created in partnership with Pulp+Wire, a Portland, Maine-based design agency that is female-founded and independently-owned. Pulp+Wire specializes in CPG branding and packaging design. The "Plant-Powered for the People" advertising campaign that coincides with the brand refresh was created in partnership with the creative agency High Wide and Handsome, which is based in Los Angeles, CA.
