Lonza Consumer Health & Nutrition (Lonza CH&N; Greenwood, SC) will highlight its range of ingredients, delivery systems, and other dosage forms at November’s SupplySide West show. These solutions address consumer trends in healthy aging, active nutrition, digestive health, cognitive health, beauty from within, and more.
The company’s UC-II undenatured type II collagen will be on display as a joint-health ingredient that improves comfort, mobility, and flexibility at a small daily dose of just 40 mg. The ingredient helps the body repair and rebuild healthy collagen. At SupplySide, Lonza CH&N will demonstrate how UC-II can be paired with the company’s range of delivery systems, including Vcaps Plus, Licaps, and DUOCAP capsules. On November 8 at 2 PM at the Central Stage, Jim Lugo, Lonza CH&N’s head of ingredient R&D, will talk about how UC-II benefits healthy aging.
Another ingredient that Lonza CH&N is highlighting at the show is Carnipure L-carnitine. This ingredient is geared to muscle maintenance and recovery, and at the show, visitors can learn about new prototypes formulated with Carnipure, including a Licaps liquid-filled capsule combining Carnipure with choline and vitamin B12. Lonza CH&N will also share information on its other ingredients for active nutrition, including ZMA, a highly bioavailable, proprietary blend of L-OptiZinc zinc and mono-L-methionine.
Lonza CH&N will also talk about immune support by way of its ResistAid ingredient, as well as Relora, which helps to improve mood and reduce stress. Finally, the company will discuss how its Lipid Multi-Particulate (LMP) technology can help improve bioavailability and enable modified release and taste masking in a range of applications, and how its other capsule technologies, such as DRcaps, can help protect sensitive ingredients for maximum efficacy.
All of these solutions are backed by science, the company emphasizes. “The supplements industry is facing increasing pressure to deliver innovative offerings that are backed by science and meet consumer needs,” commented Beth Tormey, head of global business, Lonza CH&N, in a press release. “Our extensive range of integrated solutions, including advanced ingredients, high-quality delivery solutions and formulation technologies, is helping to meet manufacturers’ needs, allowing them to develop on-trend finished products that stand out from the competition. SupplySide West is the ideal platform to showcase this offering, enabling forward-thinking manufacturers to lead the way in the industry.”
The company will be located at SuppySide West Booth #4163.
