Body&Fit, Glanbia Performance Nutrition’s direct-to-consumer brand, and Lonza are collaborating to expand Body&Fit’s nutrition, supplements and dietary solutions utilizing Lonza’s Duocap capsule portfolio and specialty nutrition ingredients.

With a capsule-in-a-capsule design, Lonza’s Duocap technology offers combined dosing of incompatible ingredients. The first two Body&Fit product utilizing Duocap technology are Beauty Skin Duo and Pro B Duo. As a way to tap into clean label trends, the products are launching using a titanium dioxide (TiO2)-free inner capsule.

Body&Fit has plans to launch three additional products for immune health, sleep, and mood and anxiety in early 2021, all featuring Lonza’s Duocap capsule technology, and a joint health and support supplement, utilizing Lonza’s TiO2-free hard capsules portfolio and its patented UC-II undenatured type II collagen ingredient.
The two companies are also collaborating on the exclusive development of an intra-workout product featuring MuscleGuard formulation from Lonza, a unique blend that delivers pre-, intra- and post-workout support.
Survey finds a lack of enthusiasm about AI technology among food and beverage consumers
