Kyowa Hakko (New York City) announced it has now launched its Setria glutathione brand in European markets. It is already sold in the United States and Asia.
Called the “master antioxidant,” glutathione is an amino acid found in every cell in the body that plays a key role in immune health, the body’s detoxification process, and more. The body produces glutathione naturally, but its glutathione stores can decline due to lifestyle choices, stress, and the natural aging process.
Kyowa Hakko’s Setria glutathione is described as a unique tripeptide consisting of three key amino acids: glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine. The company produces it using a patented fermentation process, a process that the firm says “further distinguishes Setria glutathione from generic glutathione in the market.”
