Setria glutathione is an antioxidant ingredient that has been shown to support the immune system and overall health and wellness, the firm says.
Kyowa Hakko (New York City) says its branded Setria antioxidant ingredient is now approved as a health ingredient in Brazil’s dietary supplement and functional food markets. This approval by the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) makes Setria the only glutathione ingredient approved for Brazilian use in dietary supplements and functional food.
“We are delighted that Brazilian customers looking to fight free radical damage will now have access to Setria,” said Karen Todd, MBA, RD, vice president of global brand marketing for Kyowa Hakko USA Inc., in a press release. “This is a milestone we’ve been eager to reach, and we look forward to working with our customers in Brazil to bring innovative products to market containing this high-quality ingredient.”
