India-headquartered herbal extracts supplier Vidya Herbs is investing in the U.S. by opening a CO2 extraction facility in Bunnell, FL. The Florida facility will serve as the company’s main hub for U.S. operations, the firm says.
The company calls the new extraction facility state-of-the-art. “The new Vidya Herbs USA headquarters encompasses a spacious and modern facility equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure,” the company’s press release states. “The facility’s design complies with the highest industry standards. It employs a state-of-the-art supercritical CO2 extraction process, which preserves the potency and purity of phytochemicals in an environmentally friendly manner.”
The Bunnell location is strategically located in a thriving agricultural community and has good access to transportation networks, enabling efficient distribution and logistical operations across the U.S., the firm adds.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to the American market,” said Shyam Prasad, president of Vidya Herbs USA, in a press release. “The opening of Vidya Herbs’ Florida headquarters will create numerous employment opportunities in the region, contributing to economic growth and further establishing Bunnell as a hub for the herbal extracts industry.”
