IMCD N.V. announced that it has completed its acquisition of E.T. Horn Company

IMCD N.V. (Rotterdam, The Netherlands), a distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, announced that it has completed its acquisition of E.T. Horn Company (La Mirada, CA), a specialty chemicals distributor. The agreement for IMCD to acquire 100% of Horn’s outstanding shares was originally announced on June 12, 2018.
Horn focuses on coatings, construction, plastics, personal care, human and food nutrition, animal nutrition, nutraceuticals, and other specialties primarily in the west and southwest regions of the U.S. The acquisition of Horn gives IMCD national U.S. coverage and dedicated segment expertise. In 2017, Horn generated $276 million in revenue, a normalized EBITDA of $12 million. The company has approximately 200 employees. The acquisition was paid from available cash and existing facilities.
