IFF’s Verdigel SC vegan softgel takes center stage: 2023 SupplySide West Preview

IFF Pharma Solutions and Health (New York City) will highlight its Verdigel SC vegan softgel technology at booth #3265 at the SupplySide West trade show happening October 23-27, 2023, in Las Vegas. Verdigel SC is said to deliver “the same level of processing and stability of existing vegan softgels.”
Verdigel SC is made without carrageenan. “The Verdigel SC solution enables dietary supplement manufacturers to meet growing demand, both in the United States and worldwide, for clean-label, vegetarian, carrageenan-free supplements…,” the company’s press release states. Michael Evangelista, softgel application specialist at IFF, will give a presentation with more details about Verdigel SC on October 25 at 12:30 PM at the Supplier Theatre (Expo Hall 1).
Verdigel SC joins IFF’s other solutions for vegan softgels, including Aquateric N100. The firm describes its portfolio like this: “Designed to be easy to implement and suitable for a wide range of supplement formulations, the entire range is also vegan, halal, kosher, non-GMO, and contains no gluten, allergens, or preservatives, offering significant labeling advantages.”
At the show, the company will also showcase other delivery system options, including its Grindsted Pectin CF Premium which can be used to create vegan and sugar-free gummies.
