The Global Organization of EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) has hired Ashley Becnel as its global business development director.

The Global Organization of EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) has hired Ashley Becnel as its global business development director. Becnel will oversee business development strategy to help grow the organization, as well as manage member engagement.
Previously, Becnel worked in client acquisition and retention, as well as stakeholder and partnership engagement for FoodMinds, a nutrition communications firm. She has also led integrated business and communication strategies, combining policy, science, thought leadership and media for her clients. Becnel even served the White House as part of the Advance team, handling foreign visit logistics during the Obama Administration.
“We are excited to have Ashley join our team to invigorate our business development efforts,” said Ellen Schutt, executive director of GOED, in a press release. “We’re looking forward to introducing her to existing members as well as embarking on new areas of growth as the omega-3 industry evolves.”
