Frost & Sullivan has bestowed its 2011 global product differentiation excellence award for lutein and zeaxanthin eye-health ingredients to OmniActive Health Technologies’ (Short Hills, NJ) Lutemax 2020 ingredient.
Lutemax 2020 is said to be the only eye-health ingredient to “combine a unique balance of lutein with two additional carotenoids, RR-zeaxanthin and RS-(meso)-zeaxanthin, in a highly bioavailable ratio.”
The company says that Lutemax 2020 is produced under a fully integrated supply-chain operation that spans its entire production, from cultivation of marigold flowers through proprietary extraction and manufacturing.
