Ethical Naturals (Novato, CA) will be exhibiting at booth #7004 at this year’s SupplySide West, taking place in Las Vegas, NV from October 30-31. The company will be focusing on solutions within significant growth categories that have distinct advantages over mainstream product offerings.
These include GreenGrown Glucosamine, Cranberex, AlphaWave L-Theanine, and Polyphenol-C. According to the company’s press release, GreenGrown Glucosamine is a vegan, allergen-free and vegan alternative to glucosamine which is typically derived from shellfish. The ingredient is made by converting non-GMO corn into glucose then using bacterial fermentation and purification process to produce a highly purified glucosamine in either hydrochloride and sulfate form.
Cranberex, says the company’s website, is a cranberry fruit concentrate made from whole Oregon Cranberry fruit that has been standardized to 15% A-Type linkage proanthocyanidins (PAC’s). AlphaWave L-Theanine has been shown in research to increase alpha brainwave activity to help manage stress and support cognitive health. According to Ethical Naturals, the ingredient is GRAS (generally recognized as safe), and because it is highly soluble and neutral in taste, AlphaWave L-Theanine is well suited for beverages.
Finally, Polyphenol-C is a non-GMO vitamin C that the company says contains a wide spectrum of berry polyphenols from grape, blueberry, cranberry, blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry.
