The guidance, created by EFSA’s Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition, and Allergies (NDA Panel), outlines the group’s opinions on claims related to the following:
-Gastrointestinal discomfort
-Gastrointestinal microbiota
-Digestion/absorption of nutrients
-Function of the immune system
-Reduction of inflammation
-Reducing a risk factor for infections or allergy
Interested parties are allowed to submit comments until October 22.
