The wild Arctic cod is fished and processed in Norway.
Denomega (Oslo, Norway) and its new parent company Axellus Group now offer cod liver oil certified by Friend of the Sea (FOS). The FOS approval ensures that the fish population is not overexploited, that fishing practices do not impact the seabed, and that the companies are gradually reducing their carbon footprints.
Denomega’s cod liver oil is sourced from wild Arctic cod fished and processed in Norway. To this day, more than 300 companies in 50 countries utilize the FOS certification for seafood and marine ingredients.
