The company has signed a licensing agreement for the circulation of "Microwarriors."
Danone-Brasil has signed a licensing deal to distribute the probiotics documentary Microwarriors to Brazilian physicians, according to the film’s producer Health Point Productions (Los Angeles).
Microwarriors was released to the United States in early 2011. The film is now available in Portuguese and subtitle and dubbing options are scheduled for numerous additional languages before the end of 2012.
Danone’s licensing deal is intended to encourage the recommendation of probiotics to healthcare patients for a number of purposes.
“One example is when a doctor prescribes antibiotic treatment which, as many people experience, can have unwanted digestive side-effects,” says Health Point Productions. “A proper dose of the right probiotics, recommended by the physician, represents a safe and effective way to maintain proper [gastrointestinal] function.”
