The new center enables Corbion help Asia-Pacific customers with food stability and preservation solutions.
Corbion (Gorinchem, The Netherlands) has opened a new customer support and innovation center in Singapore to serve its Asia-Pacific customers with solutions for food stability and preservation.
“With a significant capability in food preservation, the laboratory will ensure Corbion to better meet the needs of its customers in the Asia-Pacific region across a variety of categories, including meat, sauces, dressings and condiments, baked goods, refrigerated food, beverages, and confectionery,” a company press release states.
The 350-sq-m facility has a wide range of analytical capabilities for food, including micro studies for spoilage and food safety, and for chemical, physical, and sensory analysis. “In this new space, Corbion scientists will also have the ability to mimic most relevant food systems, as well as packaging and tropical storage conditions. A multifunctional area was also included to enable employees and customers to collaborate across departments, including marketing, regulatory, and business development,” the press release adds.
