The company will present Corazona’s snacks, now made exclusively with Cargill’s CoroWise plant sterols. In clinical trials, plant sterols have been shown to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (commonly referred to as “bad cholesterol”). Corazona’s tortilla chips, potato chips, and oatmeal squares all contain CoroWise plant sterols
Other products to be presented at the show include a sports beverage fortified with Regenasure glucosamine hydrochloride (for joint health), “Breakfast-time Cookies” made with Oliggo-fiber for digestive health, and flavored energy gels sweetened with Cargill’s Xtend sucromalt for longer carbohydrate absorption.
