Cactus Botanics (Shanghai) has launched Isatis indigotica powder extract, an ingredient used in traditional Chinese medicine for immune health, especially for support against symptoms stemming from viral conditions. A flowering plant of the Brassicaceae family, the ingredient is also commonly called dyer’s woad, or woad.
Cactus Botanics points to a 2012 study published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, titled “Antiviral Activity of Isatis indigotica extract and its derived indirubin against Japanese encephalitis virus,” which found indirubin exhibits multiple immunomodulatory and antiviral effects.
DOJ asks Utah court to dismiss FTC lawsuit against Xlear Inc.
March 11th 2025On March 10, the DOJ and the defendant filed a stipulation to dismiss with prejudice the lawsuit in which each party agrees “to be responsible for its own costs and fees and agrees that no party shall be responsible to any other party for any fines, costs, fees, or penalties arising from this case.”
