Bunge (St. Louis, MO) has launched a new molecule, called NuliGo, which are structured medium and long-chain fatty acids that supports muscle health. According to Bunge, by making energy easily accessible to muscles, the lipids in NuliGo help spare amino acids, leaving them available for muscle building, maintenance, and recovery.
“Wellness and physical fitness continue to grow as priorities in the minds of North American consumers of all age groups, with many increasingly using functional nutrition as a way to build and maintain physical strength. We are excited to bring NuliGo nutritional lipids, an innovative muscle health solution, to those consumers,” said Emiliano Rial Verde, PhD, vice president of Bunge Loders Croklaan Nutrition, the global nutrition business of Bunge, in a press release.
Given its benefits, the ingredient can be marketed for sports nutrition and healthy aging and is available in oil and powdered formats. NuliGo will be showcased by Bunge at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA, taking place March 7-11, at booth #481 in Hall A.
