Arjuna Natural Pvt Ltd. (Kochi, India), a manufacturer of standardized spice and botanical extracts for food supplements, has appointed Anup Krishnan its CEO. The company points to Krishnan’s 25 years of experience in innovation, business development, and operations.
Prior to heading up Arjuna Natural, Krishnan was managing director of company operations at Kraton Polymers India Pvt Ltd., as well as the company’s technical director for innovation programs from India. Before that, Krishnan was in charge of the performance and specialty materials group for Syngene International (Bangalore), a specialty healthcare and cosmetic chemicals provider.
Arjuna’s ingredient portfolio includes Shoden ashwagandha extract, BCM-95 curcumin, and Rhuleave-K, a botanical ingredient for pain relief.

Krishnan holds two master’s degrees, one in chemistry from the University of Kerala and another in polymer technology from Cochin University of Science. He also completed the Advanced Strategic Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management–Kozhikode, India.
