Biothera Welcomes New Scientific Advisory Board Members

Immune-health ingredients company Biothera (Eagan, MN) has welcomed new scientific advisory board members. The newest members are sports nutrition consultant Dave Ellis, RD, CSCS, and Joy Dubost, PhD, RD.
Ellis will aid the company’s educational outreach to coaches, athletic trainers, athletes, and sports dietitians. Biothera says its Wellmune WGP yeast beta 1,3/1,6 glucan ingredient helps keep athletes healthy. Ellis may also provide insight to Biothera customers on product development. Ellis is the president and founder of consulting firm Sports Alliance.
Dubost will help Biothera reach dietitians and food and beverage manufacturers. She is president of Dubost Food and Nutrition Solutions LLC and specializes in clinical nutrition, nutrition communications, public policy, recipe and product development, and nutrition education. She serves on the nutrition division leadership team for the Institute of Food Technologists.
