Results of a recent human study on Jusuru International’s (Anaheim, CA) Life Blend product suggest that BioCell Collagen, an active ingredient in the formula, has nutricosmetic ability.
Each day for 12 weeks, 25 middle-aged women consumed the four-oz. liquid supplement, containing BioCell Collagen TF, resveratrol, and 13 fruit ingredients. The participants experienced an average 6.6% reduction in facial wrinkles, 10.3% reduction in deep facial lines, and a 4.2% reduction in melanin. Most participants experienced improved skin hydration and skin texture and over half of the participants experienced improved skin elasticity and firmness and less blotchiness and redness of skin.
Results of the study were presented at the Beauty From Within Conference held in Paris, France.
