Bimuno GOS is now allowed to use a total of 29 different health claims in Australia and New Zealand.
Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), the regulatory body for foods in Australia and New Zealand, has authorized seven more food-health claims for Bimuno GOS, a branded prebiotic galactooligosaccharide (GOS) ingredient. The ingredient, owned by Clasado Biosciences (Reading, UK), can now feature these claims on food products in Australia and New Zealand. The claims relate to benefits for digestive and immune health, including for elite athletes.
The seven new health claims are:

Bimuno GOS is now allowed to use a total of 29 different health claims in Australia and New Zealand. The ingredient’s exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand is Pathway International.
Magnesium L-threonate, Magtein, earns novel food authorization in the European Union
