BC Partners (London), a private equity firm, has acquired the dietary supplement contract manufacturer Aenova Group (Pähl, Germany) from its previous majority stakeholder, Bridgepoint.
Aenova is a leading contract manufacturer of dietary supplements, including softgels, hard capsules, tablets, granules and pellets, and effervescents.
“As Europe’s leading service provider in the development, manufacture, and marketing of pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements for a broad range of customers in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector, Aenova is superbly positioned,” says BC Partners managing partner Stefan Zuschke. “In addition to continued organic growth, we are also planning further acquisitions to broaden the company’s range and to additionally enhance its competitive position in the international markets.”
The transaction is still subject to antitrust clearance.
