The affiliation agreement intends to help Japanese health and food companies enter international markets.
In a recent press release, nutraceutical brand marketing firm Baker Dillon Group (Clovis, California) announced it had partnered with PTG Inc, Consulting (Tokyo, Japan).
Working with PTG executive director Nori Shirai, the Baker Dillon Group will provide marketing, advertising, PR, and regulatory services to help small- and medium-sized Japanese companies enter the US market.
"I've known Baker Dillon Group for many years as they represented my former company, Daiwa Health Development, in the U.S,” stated Shirai, in the press release. “They did an amazing job developing our brand strategy and introducing products to the supplement industry and health professional categories.” Shirai also added, “The food category in particular offers numerous products that may be of interest to North American consumers. We'll test the market and see what the future holds for our clients.”
"I returned in October from Tokyo where Nori and I met to review U.S. opportunities in numerous product categories for his clients and the need for Japanese companies to create memorable brands and invest in product promotion," stated Sheldon Baker, Baker Dillon Group's chief executive officer.
