Aker BioMarine has announced a new halal-certified krill oil called Superba SC40.

Aker BioMarine (Oslo, Norway) has expanded its ingredient portfolio to include a Halal-certified krill oil product called Superba SC40. The ingredient is produced under strict bio security and safety standards in a Halal-certified facility.
“As Aker BioMarine continues to grow globally, we are seeing an increasing demand for a Halal-certified product and we believe Superba SC40 is an ideal solution to meet this demand,” said Tim de Haas, executive vice president of Human Health & Nutrition for Aker BioMarine, in a press release. “We are passionate about producing the best krill oil in the world and with this new spec we can appeal to a wider demographic of customers and consumers globally both in new and existing geographies.”
