Powdered baobab fruit from Kaibae is high in antioxidants and rich in other beneficial properties.
Native to Africa, the Baobab tree is also referred to as the “Tree of Life.” Kaibae is bringing the benefits of the Baobab tree to consumers, with its new powdered baobab fruit powder.
Kaibae’s baobab powder is USDA-certified organic, vegan, and gluten-free. The daily recommended dosage of two teaspoons of the naturally sweet and tangy powder, twice a day, is said to contain “six times more vitamin C than an orange, twice as much calcium as a glass of milk, four times the potassium of a banana, and six times the antioxidants than berries and twelve times the dietary fiber of an apple.”
The powder can be added to both foods and beverages, such as smoothies and baked goods. A 10 oz. bag of Kaibae’s Baobab Fruit Powder retails for $29.95, and $15.95 for a 4 oz. sized bag.
The company adds that it intends to market Baobab chews, organic oils, and creams later this year.
