The new blenders are “ideal for intimate dry blending of free flowing solids.”
Charles Ross & Son Company (Hauppauge, NY) has now added new sizes of its V-cone tumble blenders to its inventory of “stock mixing equipment ready for immediate purchase or short-term trial/rental.” The ready-to-order V-blenders are now available in 5-, 10-, and 25-cu-ft sizes.
The blenders are rated for 125 lbs/cu ft product bulk density and are “ideal for initimate dry blending of free flowing solids,” says Charles Ross. Hinged covers, a butterfly discharge valve, TEFC direct drive gearmotor, and a safety gate with limit switch are also standard features.
Charles Ross also offers V-blenders in custom sizes from 0.25–100 cu ft, and with optional features including spray nozzles, an intensifier bar, vacuum capability, heating/cooling jacket, explosion-proof motor, and built-in controls. Heavy-duty models for blending very dense applications (up to 200 lbs/cu ft) are also available.
A 1-cu-ft V-blender (pictured above) is currently available for free testing at the Ross Test & Development Center in Hauppauge, NY.
