Charles Ross (Hauppauge, NY), a supplier of industrial mixing, blending, drying, and dispersion equipment, has opened what it says is its largest manufacturing facility to date. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Ross Wuxi Equipment, has moved to a 250,000-sq-ft facility in Wuxi, China.
This site will manufacture what Ross says is the world’s largest planetary mixers for pharmaceutical processing, as well as high-speed dispersers for the coatings industry, multi-shaft mixers for adhesives production, and mixing equipment for chemicals and other applications.
The company says the new site provides triple the manufacturing space that Ross Wuxi had previously. It employs 350 people. Ross has eight facilities located in the U.S., China, and India.
