The company reports that, according to market researcher SPINS, chia was the top ingredient across all natural products last year, growing by more than 350%.
Chia beverage brand Mamma Chia has pioneered a new type of chia product: a chia snack in a to-go squeezable pouch. Chia Squeeze is available in four flavors-Apple Cinnamon, Blackberry Bliss, Strawberry Banana, and Green Magic. The 70-cal snack combines chia seeds with fruits and vegetables. The product is USDA-certified organic, non-GMO verified, vegan, and gluten free. Each 3.5-oz squeezable pouch contains 1200 mg of essential omega-3s, as well as protein and fiber. The product does not require refrigeration.
“With our original Mamma Chia vitality beverages, we created an entirely new drinking and nutritional experience in a bottle,” says company founder and CEO Janie Hoffman. Chia Squeeze “is an exciting new way to squeeze natural vitality and nutrients into your day.”
Calling Chia’s market growth “explosive,” the company reports that, according to market researcher SPINS, chia was the top ingredient across all natural products last year, growing by more than 350%.
“Innovation is the lifeblood of Mamma Chia, and we love creating new ways to bring chia seeds to active souls of all ages, in convenient, delicious, and ready-to-go varieties,” Hoffman says.
