Libifem is standardized for active ingredients and is backed by a history of safe use.
Gencor Nutrients Inc. (Anaheim, CA) is promoting Libifem, a fenugreek extract that the company says is clinically proven to promote the female libido. In a placebo-controlled study on 80 adult women, Libifem improved sexual vitality, desire, orgasm, and various other libido indications as measured by the Derogatis Interview for Sexual Functioning (DISF-SR) index. Libifem is standardized for Fenuside, a trade name given to a group of furostanol saponins found in fenugreek.
Libifem can be incorporated into powders, softgels, and tablets. The company also markets Testofen, a male sexual enhancement ingredient also derived from fenugreek.
