New Cacti-Nea Study

A recent study on Bio-Serae Laboratories' (Bram, France) Cacti-Nea natural water extract of prickly pear cactus fruit has shown the ingredient can help limit mass fat gain, as well as significantly reduce water mass in those with water retention. The 28-day double-blind placebo-controlled clinical study included 49 women with normal BMI who were given a daily 2-g dose of Cacti-Nea.

POLL FOR PALATINOSE

A focus group sponsored by Beneo-Palatinit (Mannheim, Germany) was attracted to the use of Palatinose in energy, sports, and wellness drinks. Palatinose is a fully digestible, low-GI carbohydrate that provides prolonged energy in the form of glucose. Research was conducted among 158 participants in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
